Jones Coffee Roasters is a family business established by Chuck and Larry Jones in 1994. As our retail café grew, seating became limited, prompting loyal customers to bring their own “talking chairs” to ensure they had a place to chat with friends. This act of community inspired our logo.
Jones represents the fifth generation of a family dedicated to growing, roasting, and selling coffee beans, primarily from our own 3,000-acre farm in Guatemala, established in 1870. Our roots trace back to Finca Dos Marias, where Mireya Jones’ grandmother and great-grandmother began producing high-grade coffee in the mid-1870s. The farm is recognized for its environmental commitment and worker support, including education and medical care. While most of the farm’s coffee is sold to other sustainability-focused roasters, we proudly keep some in the family at Jones Coffee Roasters.
We draw inspiration from coffee’s ability to connect people across cultures and borders. From the workers on the finca to the baristas, everyone plays a crucial role in our success. We take pride in our reputation and our dedicated team, which makes us feel part of something larger.
