Travel Grants

The SPHS Tiger Booster Club has budgeted funds for Competition Travel Grants for teams/groups who have been invited to compete or have earned a berth in a structured progressive competition and need assistance with travel expenses. Requests can be submitted as soon as the team/group qualifies for the competition.

Details and Scope of the Grant

  • In general, awards will be in the range of $500-$3,000 though applicants may apply for more than this if the group traveling has a large number of students. Partial grants may also be awarded. The amount of the grant awarded is at the discretion of the SPHS Tiger Booster Club Board.
  • The SPHS Tiger Booster Board will review requests and award grants at the Board meeting immediately following the request.
  • Applicants will receive notice regarding their application within a week of review.
  • All payments will be made by the SPHS Tiger Booster Club.
